I went for a consultation about belly button surgery. Never in my life did I think I would reach the point where I would want to fix even my belly button. Honestly, there is not really much to design with a belly button, so the director just said surgery could be done like this and that, and that was it. The estimate was 6.6 million, and I wondered if I looked like I had money .. There was no feeling that the price was quoted especially high. It is not even a major problem belly button, and I only went because I really wanted a straight, simple belly button, so I figured I would feel weird paying 6 million just to fix it, and decided to put it on hold for now. I will go to other clinics and get more consultations too. That said, I do understand why it is somewhat expensive, since the surgery itself takes a long time and only a small number of surgeons perform it. Even if I do not have it done here, I think I will probably do it someday when I really have nothing else to do. But the way they made it sound like I absolutely had to leave a deposit was a bit much. For people younger than me or people who have not been to consultations before, it sounded like they were being told to just leave one without thinking. Of course it is their job, but I still felt bad about kids going and being pushed into surgery without really understanding what is going on.
