I chose to go ahead with it because of the female doctor, the one-day hospitalization option, the kind consultation, the long career, and the clean hospital facilities, which all felt trustworthy. (I visited 3 places first.) It has only been a few days, but at this point it feels close to painless, and I can feel from my body that the surgery went well. The lifelong aftercare / A.S. part was the deciding factor. I would recommend it to someone I know. Since I live far away, hospitalization seems necessary. It would be really good to have a guardian accompany you at discharge!! The surgery ends when you close and open your eyes, but recovery is something you have to endure alone. This level was manageable. It cannot be completely painless.
