They did not separately recommend eye correction or canthoplasty, and only recommended what was needed for my eyes as they were at the time! They said making it too high would give me sausage eyes, so we went with a moderate line. I remember they spent a very long time shaping the line before surgery.. After surgery, I usually swell a lot, but even so, the bruising was gone in about three days..? As soon as the stitches came out, the swelling went down quickly too, so it seemed to heal fast for an incision procedure. When I went to have the stitches removed, they were extremely attentive about my swelling, more than I was(?) which was a little touching. My double eyelids came out symmetrical and nicely done, but my eyes were asymmetrical to begin with, so... still, I think I look better with the surgery!
