It has been exactly 6 months since my revision with incisional double eyelid surgery, and I came here to leave a review because it seems like one of the hospitals that takes good care of you from the surgery itself through aftercare lol
My first double eyelid surgery was a buried-suture method, and by about a month later the swelling had almost completely gone down, right? So I naturally thought this time it would go down in a similar way. But after the revision, even when a month had passed, it felt like the swelling still would not go away.. I got scared and told the coordinator it seemed like it had gone badly, and that I should probably see the surgeon lol
But the coordinator also arranged a consultation with the surgeon again, and told me to get swelling care while I was there too.. It was really just that, since it was incisional surgery, the swelling was going down slowly, and I was making a huge fuss;; Looking back now, I feel embarrassed and also very grateful..
Still, now the swelling has all gone down nicely, the line is at the height I wanted, and the symmetry is good too, so every time I look in the mirror I feel thankful to the surgeon lol If you friends are planning incisional double eyelid surgery, keep this in mind in advance.. that the swelling can stay quite noticeable for about the first three months.. Don’t throw a fit like I did...^^;;;
