I was embarrassed to have my underarms visible, so I actually felt more at ease with the fast factory-style process. I did 5 sessions, and now it's just a little bit grown in, so I only use a razor when I need to shave. If you go during an event, the price is reasonable too. There was a little pain, but it finished quickly. Underarm laser is really great, so if you're nearby, invest a little time and do it in advance about once every two months.
