When I went, there were no waiting patients, so I took photos and had a consultation right away. The doctor sat alone looking at the monitor and thinking, then came over and started explaining my eye issues anatomically, which got me excited too, so I ended up talking for an hour during the consultation. Because of his age, he would repeat what he had said or briefly drift off onto another topic, but even that was entertaining. If I asked something, he would say, “That’s a good question~” and keep talking, and he felt just like a professor I had in college. The downside was that he did not use cosmetic-surgery terms at all, like inline or outline. He did not even call epicanthoplasty “epicanthoplasty”; instead he would say something like you need to pull so the lacrimal caruncle becomes visible. He was not very good at phrasing things in a way that ordinary people could easily understand or giving a clear answer, even though he seemed to have his own method. So when he was shaping the line, I asked if I could take one photo, and he kindly said sure, and even checked whether the photo came out properly. The surgery price was 5.5 million won though, so I walked out with my smile gone. The consultation fee was 30,000 won, but it was absolutely worth it. In fact, besides double eyelids, he also recommended a few other things. But he explained the expected effects so confidently that if I had enough money and time, I think I would definitely have done it here.
