I’m the person who previously posted about being stressed by redness at the nasal tip. In May 2023, I had my first surgery with 3–4 mm silicone + septal extension at the tip + ear-cartilage cap grafting. In June 2025, I had the tip cartilage trimmed through a closed approach because it was showing through. But afterward, the redness at the tip did not disappear and remained like pigmentation.
I’m from outside Seoul, so I visited clinics in Seoul extensively, but I was told revision might not eliminate the redness and could cause more losses, such as scar tissue or enlarged pores, so I put it on hold for now.
The problem is that for the past month, the skin on the area marked with the yellow circle in the photo, on the nasal dorsum, keeps peeling. Sebum then exploded only in this area, and now makeup does not apply at all. Looking closely, it is even pigmented in a circle like that. When I asked Gemini, it said the implant had made the skin too thin from pressure, and if left untreated, the damage could worsen and lead to necrosis.
So, for everyone with thinning skin on the nasal bridge or dorsum, could you share what plan you used for revision and where you had it done? Brokers are absolutely not welcome I’m desperate.. I’m also wondering whether AlloDerm can be used on the nasal bridge!! I’ve seen too many complications with Megaderm.. The pulling at the tip is severe, so I want to avoid rib cartilage. I’d like to lower or remove the septum and reconstruct with ear cartilage, so I’d really appreciate advice from people with experience!
