Having small eyes was such a big complex for me, so I got a partial-incision double eyelid surgery in an in-out line, and also had medial epicanthoplasty and upper epicanthoplasty. Wherever I go, I get lots of compliments that my eyes are pretty! But while there’s no double eyelid scar, I do have a scar from the upper epicanthoplasty. It’s not super noticeable, but I’m left strongly feeling like maybe I didn’t really need to do it? It’s been 3 years since the surgery, and my swelling lasted a long time, so for almost a year I thought, ah, my double eyelid surgery failed, but over time it did go down well! The impression your eyes give is really significant, so I hope you think it over a lot and research carefully before doing it.
