It has already been six months since I had breast surgery with Dr. Kim Min-young at Foret. After childbirth and breastfeeding, I had sagging breasts with lost upper-pole fullness, and I had surgery using Mentor Boost implants, which are optimized to fill the upper breast. Perhaps because the procedure was done under sedation anesthesia, I recovered faster and felt better after waking up than I did with general anesthesia. Right after surgery, my breasts felt firm, but now, six months later, they definitely feel much more settled. I currently wear about a 70E or 75E bra size! I am most satisfied with how much prettier my clothes fit now that my size has changed. The shape also seems to have settled naturally and beautifully into the look I wanted. I think the doctor’s aesthetic sense played a role too. Most importantly, the feel has become much more natural than I expected. Compared with the beginning, they have become much softer, and they feel far more natural to the touch. However, they still do not feel completely like my own breasts. In particular, sensation has not fully returned in some areas, so I plan to wait a little longer. There are still areas with reduced sensation, so sometimes I feel, “They do not quite feel like my own tissue yet.” Still, after about six months, the sensation is clearly very different from the first few months. The shape has stabilized and the feel is becoming more natural, so overall I am living very satisfied with them now. I think they will feel truly even more natural once sensation returns completely, so I will wait a bit longer for that! Before surgery, I thought everything would be completely finished by six months, but now that I have gone through it, recovery seems to differ from person to person, so I am trying not to be too impatient haha. At present, I am satisfied overall with the shape, size, and feel! I am just waiting for sensation to return a little more. 🤍
