I got my splint removed yesterday and finally washed my face! The area where the costal cartilage was harvested barely hurts now too The ear cartilage stitches were removed together with the outer stitches and splint, so I can finally wash my hair a little more easily haha A small happiness.. There is still some residual swelling left, but by week 2, more of it will have gone down, right? Next week I’m going to get the inner stitches and costal cartilage stitches removed haha Then finally, for real, the hospital visits will be over haha I want the residual swelling to go down quickly so I can see my finished nose soon But when on earth does cheek swelling go down..?
