Director consultation: First of all, I’m not sure if his personality is impatient or if he was busy with the schedule afterward, but he spoke fast, and overall he didn’t seem like the type to give an extremely detailed consultation. He explained while drawing about 2-3 lines on an eye diagram on a tablet, and if I didn’t say the direction I wanted, he didn’t show various lines. The line he held did look natural, but even to my eyes, which aren’t that greedy, it looked too thin and seemed like it would soon get covered Unlike other hospitals, he recommended epicanthoplasty, so I asked whether I had to do it again even though I’d done it before. He said the incision direction is different because the purpose is to correct both inner corners into an in-out line, unlike the purpose of the previous epicanthoplasty (the right side is currently semi-out). I also asked about lower eyelid entropion, and he honestly explained that if I wanted, it could be done together, but I would need to be aware that scarring could occur, which was good. But since insurance processing is not possible, he said if I wanted insurance processing, I should go to an ophthalmology clinic; if I didn’t mind, he would do it together. The nuance was subtly like.. if you want, I’ll do it, but you can get it done somewhere else too~ haha
Consultant consultation: Among the places I consulted at, after ㅁㅅㄹㅇ, this was one where the consultant was less involved, and the method was mostly to have concerns resolved through the director’s consultation, so she only did a really simple needs check. She seemed to explain simple costs and questions like aftercare more in detail than the director! And her eyes are very big and pretty... She looked like Ailee...
Disappointing points: I went for the consultation on August 7, and the lobby was honestly so hot that I was sweating heavily while finishing the chart. When I went into the consultant consultation, they said the air conditioner had suddenly broken... They said repairs would only be possible in about ten days... At another hospital consultation in early July, they had informed me in advance that the air conditioner was broken so it could be uncomfortable, and to contact them if I wanted to change the reservation... One entire side of the lobby was glass windows, so it was sauna-level hot, but I guess they didn’t have the thoughtfulness to let me know in advance... I was told the director’s surgery was delayed so it would be about 15 minutes late, but I sat there for 30 minutes.. If I had known the air conditioner was broken, I would have changed or canceled the reservation. It wasn’t even a place I was extremely curious about, the director consultation also wasn’t my style, and after waiting as long as I did in a sauna-like place, I really didn’t want to go back to that hospital again...
