SMILE LASIK Review

I’ve had poor eyesight since I was young, so I’d been wearing glasses for quite a long time. While I was debating between LASIK and LASEK, I heard about SMILE LASIK.  Since I wanted to return to daily life right away, I was drawn more to the fast recovery and short surgery time than to the price, so I decided to have SMILE LASIK!! While looking for a hospital, I found one with many reviews and with the director who first introduced SMILE LASIK domestically, so my trust and confidence grew a lot. The fact that I could have the eye exam and surgery on the same day was also an advantage in choosing the hospital, and an acquaintance also said their quality of life improved after having surgery here. On October 5, after the same-day examination, I had the surgery right away and came back. I had surgery with Director Kim Joo-hyun! Before surgery, they put anesthetic drops in my eyes, and after waiting a little, when it was my turn, I lay down right away and the surgery proceeded. During surgery, when a green dot appears, you have to keep staring at it, and even if the dot disappears, don’t panic. You have to remember the position of the green dot and keep looking there. My right eye surgery went smoothly, but when doing my left eye, maybe because my astigmatism was severe, they said my eye was moving, so I was really, really flustered.. Fortunately, the director adjusted things well, so I kept my eye properly open and the surgery went well!! During the surgery, my vision got cloudy midway, which was really fascinating and a little scary,, and once it was over, I could see blurrily. It was fine until the anesthesia wore off, but after it wore off, my eyes stung and tears kept streaming down. After surgery, until I woke up the next day, I think I just slept while putting in eye drops. By the next day, it was as if the pain from the day before had never happened; I really felt totally fine lololololol So I was able to return to daily life right away from the next day!! After actually having the surgery, it just feels like I’m wearing contact lenses, so it doesn’t really feel real. But without even realizing it, my quality of life has gone way up hahaha Anyway, I highly recommend SMILE LASIK to people who need to return to daily life right away!!!
