Breast surgery Mentex 40-day review, from before to after to after to after! [Reason I decided to have surgery] At first I didn’t know anything and only shopped around online, but I thought seeing and feeling things in person would be important, so I made a list and remember taking the train dozens of times from the provinces to Seoul to do in-person consultations I’d always had a dream of having large breasts, but I wasn’t especially insecure about my own chest. Still, as I gained weight and kept dieting, I couldn’t stop my breast fat from decreasing.. So after turning 30, I made a big decision and decided to have surgery. A place where axillary incision is possible These three were the main points I focused on! •First of all, I absolutely wanted to do axillary incision. The reason was that this is a surgery to make the breasts prettier, and I really hated the idea of a scar being left on my breasts. •A hospital that did not force a specific implant and offered a wide range of choices (of course, this can vary depending on your body condition, e.g. fat grafting, revision surgery, etc.). Some hospitals strongly recommend only a certain implant, or even pressure you as if only that implant can be used. Of course, doctors explain that based on their many cases and their own judgment, it is appropriate. If it feels right for the individual, that’s fine, but it didn’t really resonate with me.. Honestly, the implant I wanted was already decided the moment I touched and felt the texture! -> There are implants that are used a lot these days, but please keep in mind that expensive does not mean better. I hope you go in person, touch them yourself, and listen to the explanation~ Don’t be swayed just because something is expensive! •Surgical bra & upper band After actually having the surgery, I think I understand why the surgical bra is necessary. I’m the type who can’t stand discomfort or feeling constricted, so just thinking about wearing that for months was stressful.. That’s also why I was drawn to a place that only required the upper band and chose it. But please think carefully and choose the place that suits you The lower fold was a little different for me, so in the end I personally bought a bra and wore it together with the upper band. The discomfort was only temporary.. time solved everything. You get used to it quickly.. that feeling of being cramped It has been corrected somewhat now, but because the breast pocket was already opened a little differently, it’s not completely identical and the shape is still slightly different! Still, I’m satisfied. My original breasts were asymmetric too, so I guess it’s okay. [Post-op pain and aftercare] The pain was never severe to begin with, so I’m doing well even now without pain, and the aftercare... is not really being done properly I live in the provinces, so arranging dates is very difficult, and even at the hospital, due to the surgery schedule, if the doctor’s operation schedule changes, my reserved time is automatically canceled or adjusted even if I booked in advance... Then what’s the point of making a reservation.. So even now, more than 40 days later, I still haven’t been able to go for my one-month follow-up My work schedule isn’t fixed, so it’s already hard to match dates, and this is already the second cancellation text I’ve received, which is really frustrating.. Will I be able to go at two months..? Every time I look at the scar getting darker, my heart hurts because I don’t know when scar treatment will start. Scar treatment is included in the aftercare, so they drew extra blood on the day of surgery, but I wonder if there’s still any effect when I’m getting it this late. It seems like pigmentation is already setting in, and it’s hard because I can’t align the dates. If you want reservation schedules and cancellations to match your work environment, I hope you get surgery at a breast-specialist hospital or a place where schedule changes aren’t frequent. Even when I made a reservation, I think I still waited at least 25-40 minutes. I think this is something the hospital should change in its system or definitely improve!! *Also, they do not have radiofrequency or CAPS management here!! So I’m a little disappointed about that part, but I think that’s something I couldn’t avoid because I didn’t research enough before surgery. I want to try CAPS once, so I’m planning to get it at another hospital. And they do give medication for capsular contracture, but here they tell you to take it only for one month and stop immediately if you have side effects. [Breast size after surgery] I think it comes out around a full A to a D-E cup. Just looking at it, it doesn’t seem as big as in the photos, but when you actually measure it, it is big! Lastly... It feels like one month passed surprisingly quickly. It feels like I rushed into surgery in a flash, so I’m a little regretful? bitter? relieved? I think maybe I became a worry doll after surgery and the stress aged me by half a year, but now my mind feels a little calmer... I don’t know about anything else, but I just hope I can get hospital appointments properly... please
