On the day of surgery, it did not hurt at all. I only felt numbness and a refreshing sensation. When I looked in the mirror, there was only tape attached; since it was a closed rhinoplasty, there was no cotton blocking the inside of my nose, and there was no swelling at all. I loved the nasal line so much that I kept taking selfies. I was a little dazed from the anesthesia and extremely thirsty, so I drank a lot of water. While I was waiting in the recovery room, the doctor came out and showed me a comparison of the preoperative and immediate postoperative photos taken in the operating room, and it turned out amazingly dramatic. I also had nasal surgery for rhinitis, so I can breathe comfortably now and smell well again.
