I had my nose revision surgery here, 10 years after my first surgery at another place. The line between the silicone and the nose tip was becoming more and more noticeable, so I visited over 10 clinics before deciding. I also found out on CT that the silicone from my first surgery was 4 to 4.5 mm. Honestly, compared with other places, the consultation here was short, only about 5 to 8 minutes, and just from the consultation it didn’t seem great, but I chose it because of the safety factors like an anesthesiology specialist on-site, the ability to view CCTV, and the surgeon’s experience. Most importantly, the review photos showing the shape I wanted were decisive. Anyway, they replaced the silicone, lowering it by about 1 to 1.5 mm, and used ear cartilage for the nose tip. Since it was a revision, the difficulty was relatively low, so the price seems to have been on the cheaper side too. Anyway, the doctor has been doing this for a long time and is skilled, so the result looks natural and I like the line. But after the surgery, horizontal wrinkles appeared on the bridge of my nose, where there hadn’t been any before. When I went to the hospital at the one-week follow-up and asked the doctor, he shut me down right away, saying they were either wrinkles that had already existed or, anyway, not caused by this surgery;; I wondered if it was because I lowered the silicone by even 1 mm, and since it had been there for a long time, maybe the skin had stretched.. Anyway, he said it had nothing to do with the surgery. I thought he would say it would get better over time, or that it was because of swelling, or give some answer like that.. But he only said two or three times, “It must have been a wrinkle that was already there. It didn’t come from the surgery I did.” ㅠㅠ Looking at the photos before surgery, it definitely wasn’t there.. After the doctor left, the nurse comforted me by saying there was still a lot of swelling and to wait and see. Here, both during the consultation and later (blood draw), and even in aftercare, it feels like the nurses are better than the doctor or the manager. Anyway, it’s not even been two weeks yet, so maybe as the swelling goes down, the horizontal wrinkles will fade??!!
