They do the procedure exactly as planned. But rather than recommending the procedure that suits the person, it feels more like they just leave it up to the individual... If the person getting the procedure has no sense of facial harmony and just says to go ahead, then if you have bad luck, you're screwed.... I messed up my chin too much, and my cheekbones became too prominent, so I regretted it. This is why you need to consult with the doctor... ugh The doctor didn't do anything wrong, but because my facial harmony was ruined, I'm annoyed and probably won't go back...
