I'm getting treatment for bikini line and upper lip hair removal. The doctor in the second session was thorough, but the doctor who did the third session was really disappointing. The clinic is clean and the staff in the treatment rooms are kind. 1. On the website they say they use personalized laser equipment for each person, but in the hair-removal room the only laser labeled was 'Bikini.' I never saw any other laser hair-removal equipment brought in. Both the second and third sessions used the Bikini laser, and I couldn't check the first session because everything was hectic. Anyway, all sessions 1 to 3 used a laser with gel that touches the skin. It hurts! 2. About one-quarter of the middle of my left bikini line wasn't treated at all, so I asked the doctor, 'Why is the effect much weaker on this side?' He fired the laser twice quickly and, as he was leaving, said, 'I don't know,' lol. I was so stunned for a moment I almost argued, but I just thought I wouldn't go on days when that doctor was there. I even told him the left side had less treatment, but he didn't even look properly and finished one side in 5 seconds, bye-bye. Of course, there was not even a little extra care for the left side. For the upper lip, he shot exactly four times, bang bang bang bang! and barely passed over the bikini area. The person next to me got the same treatment, with both sides of the bikini line done in 10 seconds. I guess that's how they can offer this price by not using many shots. 3. The machine here is old too, and after today's experience I lost all enthusiasm for it, so I had my legs and arms done at another clinic with Apogee Plus. Apogee Plus hurts a lot less than the Lumiere laser. And that was even on my calves, which had more hair! That place was even cheaper than here, so I paid in full for 5 sessions for arms and calves. I still don't know the result for the arms and legs. Overall, the bikini hair removal wasn't completely ineffective (the right side worked decently, the left side was so-so..), so I can't say much in terms of results alone. But if you go to another Gangnam clinic, you'll probably pay a similar amount and get a similar result, and there are probably many places with better equipment and more considerate doctors... If you watch the doctors' YouTube videos, they also say equipment matters a lot for hair removal.. I don't even expect a gentle doctor and someone to check my hair-removal status every session and take care of everything because I paid less. But this is too much, right? If I clearly said one side didn't work well, they should at least pretend to listen, since otherwise the left side won't even get any effect lolㅠ. Except for the doctor in session 2 and the kind staff, everything was generally bad, and that empty 'I don't know' I heard today will probably stay in my head for a while.
