The dermatology clinic I usually went to was in Cheongdam-dong, so this was a place I looked for when I was living in Daejeon because of the distance. First of all, there was no board-certified specialist there... so the diagnostic expertise was lacking.. I spent money as if I were throwing money away while going here, but the mental stress and skin stress were so severe.. If your skin is the kind that can handle anything and stays pretty stable, maybe it doesn’t matter, but if a friend were to go...(I have so much to say I won’t say it) I learned that even the same procedure or the same laser can have completely different results depending on who performs it.. When your skin is relatively stable and good, they say it’s bad / it should get much better / you need continued care, but if you follow their advice, get a flare-up, and your skin gets worse, they don’t really reassure you or say it’s okay. I got advice here and then followed a direction opposite from the specialists, which caused a flare-up and chaos, and after that when I mentioned my worsened skin...(I have so much to say I won’t say it) Now I’ve just safely followed the opinions of board-certified dermatologists, stabilized my skin, and returned to my good skin state.
