Eye Surgery review at Sopeuteu (소프트) · Double eyelid, buried suture + Incisional method · 2024-05-10

After buried-method double eyelid surgery 7 to 8 years ago, it loosened within 6 months, so I had revision surgery with the incision method, but that also loosened after 6 to 7 months. I had surgery when I was a student, so I think the problem was that I didn't go all the way to Seoul and just looked into it roughly before getting the surgery.. When I went back for a re-consultation after the eyes loosened, they blamed the patient. They were dodging it by saying things like, 'Your eyes are the type that loosen easily~,' and I was just dumbfounded. I do admit that my eyes loosen easily, but they didn't explain it properly, and the vibe was like I had done nothing wrong, which really upset me. Back then I asked whether I had a lot of fat in my eyelids, whether I needed an epicanthoplasty, and whether I was the type of person who often gets told I look sleepy, so whether I needed ptosis correction. They said I didn't need any of that. I trusted that and went ahead, and ended up as someone who had surgery twice, and after that I've been living with uneven eyes. What's also ridiculous is that both the buried and the incisional surgery loosened, one on the left and one on the right. After that I stopped paying attention to my eyes for a while, but recently I've been looking into revision surgery and finally figured out the problem roughly The original line was just too high.. I hear that everywhere I go. Honestly, even though the line was uneven, I kind of liked it because it had a soft, rounded look. If they hadn't made it so high from the start, it would have been fine. Sigh. Even though my memory is fuzzy, I don't think I was stubbornly demanding a high line. They said from the beginning that only an inline was possible, so I asked for that.. Anyway, after the incisional revision surgery loosened, I was angry and didn't even go back to the clinic, and now it seems the clinic has disappeared. Writing this makes me angry again. Thanks to them, I'm planning a second revision surgery, and I'll have to accept that it'll cost a lot
