I got Botox for the first time, for the square jaw area. Just so you know, I'm a guy. Well, it's only the first day, so I don't know if it's working yet, but for now it just feels strange in a fun way lol Since it was my first time and maybe because I'm a guy, my muscles were big, so they said to use domestic 100cc, and I just went along with it ㅎ I had stopped by a dermatology clinic right before this one, and they were recklessly asking me to get all kinds of procedures and didn't really look at my face properly, so I was disappointed, a little scared, and annoyed, and was thinking maybe I shouldn't do it. Then I came here thinking I'd stop by just one more place in Hongdae, and the consultation manager was soooooo kind and attentive that I got tempted and had it done. They didn't pressure me to get a bunch of extra things, so it was fine anyway (I had only been to two places, so maybe the previous place was the weird one...) But unlike the place I visited before, there wasn't a separate consultation room or anything like that; they looked at me at the counter. As soon as I went in, I was cold-compressing, and then maybe it was the doctor..? (The website says there's only one doctor at the clinic.) They came over, told me to open my jaw, checked the muscle position, and then just bam bam bam, three shots on each side and that was it. It's a bit numb and the feeling is strange, but I hope the effects show up soon!!! For now I'll see how well the square jaw Botox works and then try other procedures one by one. I don't remember the exact price, but it was around the low 600,000 won range? It wasn't too burdensome.
