I went to get liposuction on my thighs and butt, but they only recommended the butt. No matter how I thought about it, I felt like doing both together would give a better line, but the doctor said the thighs wouldn't be effective, so I only did the butt. It wasn't painful or scary because it was done under local anesthesia. The doctor really did a good job making it not hurt and was kind. But it's been two years since the surgery, and it's not smooth, and if I tense up, it feels a little bumpy. And in the end I had the thighs done somewhere else. But the small connecting area between the butt and thighs still awkwardly has old fat left there. If you're doing the butt and thighs, you should get both done at the same place.
