I wasn't the type who wanted double eyelid surgery the moment I graduated at 19; this was a case where my mom said she'd pay for it, so I ended up doing it. I knew nothing and didn't even look up any information, and I was led there by my mom because it was supposedly famous, which I really regret. For the first surgery, I said I wanted a natural, thin line, but it ended up being almost like a very narrow hidden double eyelid. The lines on both sides were a little uneven, and as time went on the shape of the front epicanthoplasty changed into a ㄷ-shape, exposing the inner corner of my eye. Even that, by six months later, the left eye had loosened. I got the second revision surgery for free, but the result was worse than not doing it at all. They said they'd tighten the loosened left eye firmly, but they didn't consider the right eye, so the lines on both sides became completely different and the asymmetry got even worse... Ever since then, I've been living with the sole determination that once I get a job, I'll have to get it revised again.
