A few years ago I had eye surgery with buried stitches, and it went well. It was my very first surgery in my life, so I was exhausted and asked a ton of questions about everything, and honestly I think it must have been annoying from the doctor's point of view, but they listened patiently and reflected that in the surgery, so I've been satisfied ever since.
