I had a non-incisional nose-tip surgery two weeks ago. It was my first time getting any plastic surgery, and I was drawn in by the ad saying it would be done without incisions, so I went there. When I consulted with the doctor and the consultation manager, they emphasized their confidence in non-incisional nose surgery and even used the word “permanent,” but the result is that my left and right sides are asymmetrical, and my nostrils are extremely uneven. During surgery they removed all the nose hairs, so for a week breathing was okay, but now the nose hairs have grown back and if there is even a little bit of dried mucus, it becomes hard to breathe. My right nostril is so twisted that even my pinky finger can’t go in. I was doing my first nose surgery to relieve stress, and now I’m under so much stress. Even before surgery, the consultation manager came to the waiting room and said they wanted to blur my face a little and post it on their homepage, and that they’d really take good care of me, so I agreed. But the result is asymmetry and I can’t breathe through the right side. After the surgery I looked in the mirror, and I do have a very slight dorsal hump, but it looked even more pronounced. Then the doctor said filler would be needed to smooth out the shape and called the consultation manager back in. The consultation manager said I would need to pay 500,000 won more. Everything from the consultation to payment had already been completed. I was so baffled. It was a non-incisional J nose surgery, 2.2 million won including VAT, and I had already finished consulting and paying, but then they told me to pay again in the middle of surgery... what a ridiculous situation. I told them how uncomfortable I felt, and they just injected filler into the crooked part. But I had also seen a post on their website saying filler wasn’t necessary, and I didn’t want filler in the first place.ㅜㅜ But after the surgery the dorsal hump looked even more obvious, and I ended up getting a little filler anyway, but it still isn’t smooth and still feels like a hump. One week after surgery I had to go back for disinfection, and when the doctor saw me, he just said it was simple swelling. Ah... what am I supposed to do?
