I was deciding whether to do my nose, facial contouring, or eyes first, but since my wide cheekbones and square jaw have always stressed me out, I figured if I'm going to do it anyway, I should start with the bigger surgery first, and decided to get contouring surgery. It's been about a week since I had the two contouring procedures done. Days 1 to 3 This period was honestly the hardest part for me. On the day of surgery, I was hospitalized at the clinic, and I don't even know what state of mind I was in while lying there and falling asleep... I was discharged early in the morning and came home, and I just felt endlessly exhausted.. Then on day 3 I went back to the clinic, got the dressing change and swelling laser, and yesterday I came in for my one-week checkup and received the same care I got on day 3. I have to go next week to get the stitches removed, and opening my mouth is still really difficult, but the big swelling has gone down much more than I expected, and my face shape seems to have come out naturally into the doll-like line I wanted. My face also feels much smaller, so I'm satisfied. They say the swelling will keep going down for 6 months to 1 year, so I'm spending my time looking forward to seeing how much smaller my face will get from here.
