I had my first surgery at a small neighborhood clinic, and because my eyes were weak when opening, I got revision surgery here 12 years ago. At the time, eye muscle correction wasn’t common, but they said that if I got that done, opening my eyes would get better, so I consulted and had it done right away. Since I had surgery for a functional problem, I asked them to make it as natural as possible so it would be easy to open my eyes. The ability to open my eyes definitely improved, and one side turned out very well, but there was a problem with the line on the other side. When I consulted the doctor, he said it was because the line had loosened in the middle and that it could be fixed by pinning it again, and he was very kind in the consultation. The director said they’d contact me when there was a date available, but I had called several times myself, and in the end they never contacted me separately, and then I got a job so I couldn’t receive aftercare. Now it’s been over 10 years, my eyes have drooped and the line is mostly covered, so I think I need to do it again. I’m debating whether to get it done here again or look elsewhere.
