I had arm liposuction and went around to about 5 places. A friend had surgery there, so I decided on LaPrin. The manager was so good at consulting, kind, and explained things so well that I thought, if a hospital like this can do arm lipo well even if the facilities aren't fancy, it would be fine, so I made my final decision. Honestly, before the surgery, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say I decided because of the manager; she was so kind and angelic. But as the days passed after surgery, her tone in messages changed. Every time I asked a question, she would always start with, "I already explained that before the surgery~" lol A friend of mine had it done there and hardly had any bruising. But for me, after a week I started having severe unevenness, lumps, and pain, so I contacted them and they answered in a really stern way, saying, "Didn't we tell you before surgery that bruising and lumps are definitely going to happen? It's natural for them to happen." If they're definitely going to happen, then why didn't they happen to my friend? Is my friend weird or what..? lol Anyway, after that, I asked how long I should wear the compression garment (they had written the answer in their own handwriting on the instruction sheet, but the written note didn't match the original printed text, so I asked), and they replied, "We already wrote that in the precautions ㅜㅜ" I guess they just can't answer plainly. There had been no swelling, and then it suddenly appeared, so I asked about that too, and they said, "Ms. XX, I told you already, this is how long it takes for the big swelling to go down, and swelling and bruising for about a month are completely normal~" I mean, if swelling that had already gone down suddenly comes back, isn't it reasonable to ask because you'd be surprised? Once you've heard an explanation, are you not allowed to ask again no matter what changes? lol They told me before surgery to contact them if I had any questions, but now.. Oh, and I never once saw the doctor who operated on me. I heard when I went to remove the stitches that he suddenly quit a week after my surgery lol So until I fully heal, I can only communicate with this manager, which is annoying. Honestly, I never expected their attitude to change this much. Everyone should take this as a warning. I'm a professional working at a hospital too, and even knowing that, this is the attitude they have. I thought they'd be even worse with someone who doesn't know much.
