Because it was close, I went ahead and did the canthoplasty. The doctor was very honest. He spoke very directly about the possibility of side effects. Canthoplasty is a more difficult surgery than I expected. There is pain and it’s uncomfortable for a while. The change isn’t as big as I hoped after gathering information, but I look better than before. I came out looking exactly like I did during the pre-op consultation.
