I was recommended the new buried-suture method + eye muscle correction. The consultation started with the manager drawing the line and explaining various surgical methods and their advantages, and then I had a second consultation with the doctor. The consultation fee is 5,000 won, but they explained everything that thoroughly and carefully. The reason I was considering double-eyelid surgery here was because they said they would use a surgery method called a double-loop buried-suture method(?) that was developed at this hospital, rather than a regular buried-suture method. From the explanation, it seemed like a method developed by taking only the advantages, but because it is not commonly used, I felt a little uneasy. Also, I already knew about the side effects of eye muscle correction and things like pseudo-ptosis, which does not necessarily need correction, so when they recommended eye muscle correction, I hesitated a bit. That said, if you want a natural-looking line, this doctor will suit you well. I have monolids and a strong epicanthal fold, and I loved the line the doctor designed for me. For people who want a natural in-line or a subtle inner double eyelid rather than something big and flashy, this seems good. I am still not sure whether I will go through with surgery because of the newly developed method and the eye muscle correction. I do not think getting a consultation once would be a bad idea! For eye muscle correction side effects, I recommend looking things up on YouTube and watching a few videos before you go.
