I had Motiva 235 textured implants in my early 20s. The consultation with the director wasn’t long because he seemed tired. It’s a breast-specialty clinic, but it’s big with many floors, so it felt like a large hospital, which was interesting. When I mentioned rippling during a post-op checkup, they said, “We told you that could happen,” so I didn’t feel like they were being kind. The result is that I can feel the rippling depending on posture on one side, and when I lie down it feels hard and like there’s a foreign object there. Another junior doctor handled drain removal, scar care, and so on, so after general anesthesia I even thought I don’t know who’s actually doing the surgery.. The inpatient room was also unsatisfactory at the time because several people were in one room with only curtains between the beds.
