It has been well over a year since the surgery, and one eyebrow still will not raise. It only twitches about one-third as much as the other side. Since this was revision surgery, it was expensive, and the bleeding did not stop for nearly a month. The posterior cheekbone was still nonunited as before surgery, so the procedure was not very meaningful. My cheekbones did become smaller, but if they return to how they were, I would not have done it. The recovery period was far too long and difficult.
