I got a consultation, and um.. first of all I was surprised that the person giving the consultation wasn’t young. And while I was getting the consultation, there was this feeling like they were cutting me off, and they were kind of dismissive because I’m a student. When I was talking with the doctor, I really liked that he honestly told me which parts needed to be done. Even though he seemed annoyed when I kept asking questions, he still asked if I had anything else I wanted to ask. At the end I felt awkward and said, uh.. no, and while we were talking the consultation manager came into the room and stood right by the door with it open, so it felt like I should stop asking and leave, and there were questions I couldn’t ask because of that.. I originally planned to do it here, but I think I didn’t because of the manager. They kept saying they’re good here, and if I didn’t leave a deposit I’d have to pay a consultation fee^^ When I said I came without cash, they asked if I had a card, and when I said I could only put about 30,000 won on it, they said then just pay 30,000 won. So I ended up putting down a 30,000 won deposit, but they felt like someone totally obsessed with money, like they were trying to squeeze money out of me somehow. That’s why I canceled it the very next day. I did that because my intuition told me it was not good. In the end they kept saying they’d only refund 20,000 won after canceling the 30,000 won deposit, so although it was ridiculous, I was like haha.. sure, do that, and just left after paying 10,000 won. It just left me in a bad mood. I wrote three clinic reviews and came back, and while I was reading them, I saw there were people who had the exact same experience as me. The deposit was totally awful. And when I mentioned during the consultation that I had also looked into other clinics and that I thought I might be able to do it here, her expression changed and she asked, where did you reserve? I got flustered and said, huh? No, just another clinic. Then she said where is it, what’s the hospital name? Don’t you remember the hospital name? That really startled me. I said Banobagi.. and then she said, again? There’s another one? which felt a bit scary and bad. Honestly, the manager was the worst part.
