First of all, the consultant was kind, and communication was good. The director was also very kind and communication went well, and he said he would do his best to follow what I wanted... that was a little worrying here. When I had a CT scan at another clinic, valve stenosis did not show up, but here it showed on the CT. They said it would be good to treat the valve at the same time, but I am not sure yet whether insurance reimbursement is possible, so I plan to get examined at a university hospital first. If they say the valve stenosis is severe enough to qualify for reimbursement, I will do both together. For the cosmetic nose, when I said I was scared of silicone, they recommended no implant. At another clinic they definitely recommended 2 mm silicone, and at yet another clinic they recommended donor rib cartilage for a first surgery (here they really disliked silicone). Out of the four places I consulted, this was the one I liked best, so I plan to think about it a little more and contact them again! After going around large hospitals and then visiting private clinics, I felt a bit more reassured, and I felt like they could take care of me.
