I had double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction about 5 years ago. The incision scar is still there, but the shape when I open my eyes is very natural. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s such a common procedure, but people don’t seem to think I had double eyelid surgery. Interestingly, my mom never had double eyelid surgery, but after mine, my eyes ended up looking exactly like hers. The doctor only responded with just the amount necessary, I think. At the time I hadn’t researched much, and I just went after seeing some older sister do it, but mine turned out even better than hers.
