Because my nose had no dimension and looked blunt overall, I decided to get nose surgery. I wanted a somewhat refined look with a bit of height and harmony with my image, rather than an extremely thin nose, and D-Day matched that need well. The chief doctor really looked at the overall impression, not just the shape of the nose, and even checked my proportions. As for me, I preferred donor costal cartilage over autologous costal cartilage because of cost and also because of scarring and pain, and since the doctor was known to handle rib cartilage well, it matched exactly what I wanted. That’s how I ended up having the surgery. In many busy, factory-style places, it’s hard to see the doctor directly for progress checks or aftercare once the operation is over, but here the doctor personally handled everything, and once the swelling went down, the result came out exactly as designed, without being overdone, so I’m extremely satisfied. If I ever want to get my eyes done later, I’m thinking of doing it here too haha.
