I’m a failed case of fat grafting to the eyelid area, so when I look down, one side of the upper eyelid bulges out in a leech-like shape. Because the fat that was originally in my eye and the transplanted fat are in different positions, it can’t be thought of as something easy like removing fat during double eyelid surgery, and they said it’s an extremely difficult operation. They said even if they remove it, there’s a risk it will cave in too much, and I might be even more dissatisfied than I am now, but they would still do the surgery if I wanted it, though they didn’t recommend it. I felt that was honest. I also got a consultation about double eyelid revision while I was there, and they said that because the extra skin has come down and there are fine folds in my eyes, an incision would be used and the line would become a bit higher. They also didn’t recommend any canthoplasty at all. There were many revision cases and it’s an eye-specialty clinic, so I went hoping to remove the bulge on my eyelid, but the fact that they don’t do overtreatment made me rethink it before my face got any worse, which I guess is a good thing, haha. After the consultation, the manager also said something comforting? and created a relaxed atmosphere with zero pressure, so I was able to hear the price in a calm state. I’m thinking of looking into clinics for eyelid fat removal or repositioning more, but I’ve put Only Eye on my list for double eyelid surgery and plan to go back for another consultation later.
