I wanted liposuction but didn’t have money, so I did LUKPET instead. I had my lower abdomen done, but... the consultation felt too formulaic, and if I hadn’t checked reviews on the internet at the time, I would have been flustered. I met with the doctor, and he said to try LUKPET this time as a test and then do liposuction if it was okay. (If I had known that revision liposuction is harder and costs more...) I had same-day LUKPET, but they did it right away without explaining the procedure in detail. I was honestly so taken aback, and I don’t even know the doctor’s name. If I check the website, it seems like Dr. O Il-young, but I can’t be sure. The anesthesia for the LUKPET procedure was fine, but I was actually more scared because I could feel the vibration when they were removing fat. If you can get past the fear, it was doable. I didn’t feel like this was a place that really took care of you or had a warm atmosphere. I also didn’t properly hear the aftercare instructions... They didn’t remove much fat with LUKPET, so I didn’t become dramatically slimmer. I’m a little satisfied because I no longer have that protruding shape like before. Since they didn’t remove much fat, the fat is still there and my shape changed. But I think it would be better to save up and do proper liposuction in one shot. I didn’t have any major side effects except that the fat moved to my upper abdomen after LUKPET, even though I didn’t have fat there before.
