I had always been bothered by my long philtrum, so I went for a consultation about philtrum reduction. Scarring was my biggest concern, so I had only been looking into scarless methods. At the consultation, I asked how much it could realistically be shortened, and I liked that they explained the achievable amount while looking at my face in the mirror. The doctor seemed very easygoing and answered every question comfortably, which made the consultation atmosphere pleasant. They also considered the shape of my lips and overall harmony. Personally, I felt the doctor had a good aesthetic sense. During the consultation, I started deliberating about whether to have surgery. They said adding a dimple procedure would cost extra, but doing it together might produce a better effect. I still have two more places to visit, so I will probably decide after looking around more.
