Since the hospital is so famous, I went for a consultation. The consultation manager was unbelievably kind, even sharing their own experience and responding so kindly, but the doctor was very unfriendly. They just said if you want to do it, do it; if not, don’t, and that anything I was curious about would be explained by the junior doctor, then sent me off. Honestly, the consultation with the chief doctor and the junior doctor felt like “I’ll talk, you just listen,” so it was over so quickly that I didn’t even get a chance to ask questions, which was a bit unpleasant. But the consultation manager was so good that I’m still thinking about whether I should have the surgery, though the reservation dates here seem awkward so I probably can’t do it.
