It’s almost been 4 years since I had it done. For the nose tip, alar reduction, and lowering the columella, they used autologous ear cartilage. Looking back now, I’m curious: is it normal for the anesthesia to wear off during surgery..? Back then, while they were cutting the nose and harvesting ear cartilage from behind the ear, the anesthesia wore off, and I had the surgery while hearing all of that;; At first I didn’t have it, but now the left side of my nostril has sunken in flat. I’m looking into revision surgery. There wasn’t much aftercare. Just a prescription, and that was it. For the amount of money I spent, I’m not very satisfied. The area where they harvested the ear cartilage made my ear stick closer to my face. From the front, the ear position looks different. If I could go back, I wouldn’t use ear cartilage.
