Back in 2003 or so, I was a country bumpkin who knew nothing and went to a consultation full of dreams, thinking, “If I just look at the price, I’ll become pretty.” On my first visit, I liked both the consultation manager and the doctor, and I had the surgery that same day. But I suffered from inflammation, suffered from contracture, and woke up in the middle of surgery to find someone else lying next to me. They said it hurt, and looking back now, it feels like it was a substitute doctor or someone who came and went during the operation. I also had facial fat grafting at the same time. When I woke up during the procedure, it felt like my nose was open and the doctor wasn’t there; I was scared and just kept saying it hurts, it hurts, before I fell asleep again. That’s the only memory I have. Thinking about it now makes me so scared and furious. That nose kept repeating inflammation and contracture. The doctor kept saying it was fine and to just get antibiotic shots, and I endured it like that until I got pregnant, but during pregnancy the silicone poked through. Ha.. honestly, at that time I was terrified for both my baby and my nose. It was such a hard time. I struggled back up to Seoul to see the director, and the first thing he said was, “Ah... I guess we have to take it out.” That was all. What the consultation manager said was that they’d give me a discount when I had revision surgery later. Seriously, stay away from hospitals like this at all costs.
