The clinic has 3 directors, and it was named after each of their surnames. Each director has a different specialty, and I had masseter reduction surgery with the director whose surname is Lee. I went in having booked same-day consultation and procedure, but objectively they didn’t recommend it if the procedure wasn’t really necessary. I went because of temporomandibular joint disorder, but at first they told me to try dental treatment, so I had to strongly emphasize that I didn’t want repeated Botox and that I wanted the procedure, and only then did it finally go through. I did feel that the doctor didn’t really make eye contact during the consultation, which was a bit disappointing and made me think it wasn’t professional. (Minus 1 point here) Still, I pushed ahead thinking I should trust the long experience in that field. (Everyone else, let’s not do something as risky as gambling on ourselves!) It has only been a few days since the procedure, and especially for masseter reduction, you have to wait several months, so I’ll hold off on saying whether I’m satisfied with the results and share later once time passes. Also, the reception and consultation director were about average in friendliness, like at any clinic, and the nurses who came into the procedure room weren’t particularly kind and felt a bit stiff and routine, if I had to describe it? Even though they weren’t kind, I didn’t need to feel bad, but somehow I did feel a bit hurt. (A hard-to-describe chill, minus 1.5 points here) Finally, the procedure itself was very painful! (minus 0.5 points here) Even though I’m the type who can endure pain well, it felt extremely hard. In fact, the swelling and pain after the procedure felt less severe by comparison.
