Six years ago, it was the very first plastic surgery clinic I ever went to, and I only went there for contour injections, but when I went into the doctor consultation, he suddenly started with, “You came here through an acquaintance, didn’t you?” (Nope), and kept saying I needed liposuction, so I got tempted and went straight into same-day surgery. After the surgery, because it was surgery and not a procedure, I had swelling, icing, and pain all the same, but there was zero effect. The sedation anesthesia didn’t work properly either, so from the middle of the surgery I was half asleep and I remember the whole process. They were talking among themselves about ordering Chinese food and such, and the doctor kept getting annoyed. On top of that, my right cheek is slightly but definitely knotted up with muscle. If I think about what would have happened if I had really done bone-related surgery there, it gives me chills.
