I'm a revision case. The first time was buried suture, then it came undone so I had incision, and this time I had revision surgery with buried sutures again at Ively. I also consulted at other hospitals, but because I had had incision surgery before, almost all of them recommended incision again. But I thought my skin wasn't good for that, and if I had incision again, I would get too much scarring and I didn't want that. At the first buried-suture surgery my eyelids were a bit thick, but after the incision surgery the eyelid area also became much thinner, and I lost a lot of weight too, so at some clinics they even recommended fat grafting to the eyelids because they were so thin. Also, the line from the incision surgery looked less natural than the buried-suture line and didn't look as pretty. For these reasons I wanted buried-suture surgery again, and even for a revision case this was the only place, along with one other, that said it was possible. The reason I chose here was that they said the reason my double eyelids kept coming undone was because I was lifting them with my eyebrows. Thinking about it after hearing that, I realized I really do put more force into my right eyebrow, and the right side had come undone much more. My eyelid area wasn't originally that thin either, but they said it only looked thin because I was lifting it with my eyebrows. Other hospitals didn't explain the reason well and just said some eyes are naturally prone to loosening, or that if it came undone after incision then it should be done with incision again. But because they explained the reason it was coming undone in a plausible way, I somehow trusted them and decided on this place. I've had the surgery now, and I kept the original line. Since it was buried suture, it came out naturally and nicely, and after I actually got eyebrow Botox, my eyebrows dropped and the eyelid area wasn't that thin after all.. If I had done fat grafting, it would have been a disaster. Anyway, if you want a natural line, I recommend going for a consultation! It's only been 4 months, so I don't know if it will come undone again, but the aftercare period being 5 years was nice. The price was between 1,000,000 and 1,200,000 won, but I forgot..
