I'm almost at the 1-year mark, and the scar is visible, but I expected that and went ahead with it. Plus, my thigh also shows a scar, so I think that's just my skin type. The skin discoloration lasted longer than I expected, and the ankle bruise really took a long time to go away. Up until the 10-month mark, I would still sometimes get a stinging, itchy sensation around the ankle. Even so, you can see the leg line and that it's slimmer, so if I had to do it again, I would. The effect of making the legs look longer comes more from the calves than the thighs. There aren't many clinics that do a lot of calf work, so if you want to do the whole leg, I recommend it!
