The clinic was right in front of the station, so it was easy to find and very accessible. I visited for a consultation because it is one of the clinics known for secondary canthoplasty. I was told in advance that waiting might be long because there is only one doctor, but there were not many people waiting when I visited, so I went into the consultation after 10–20 minutes. They said that my eye-opening procedure had been done incorrectly downward, toward the lower area near the aegyo-sal, rather than toward the inner corner, so improving the scar there would be difficult. They said the dog-ear would require laser treatment later, and they also pointed out the asymmetry in my double eyelids. They said cases with only a lot of visible inner canthus or stair-step scars near the inner corners are easy, but my scar location and shape do not make mine a mild case, so I plan to visit a few more clinics before deciding.
