The moment the doctor saw me, he started by saying, "The important thing is that the result may not come out the way I think. Does that mean the surgery was done wrong? You can't think of it that way. Every patient has different conditions," which was a little puzzling.. I don't like hospitals that say everything will definitely go well, but this also felt a bit like an attempt to avoid responsibility. The consultation itself was the most professional and detailed compared to other hospitals. Because my under-eye area was hollow, fat grafting was absolutely necessary, and for repositioning, there was a very slight protrusion of the under-eye fat, but because the skin is thin, coating would be needed. He said that if I only did fat grafting, the under-eye area could look swollen or the aegyo-sal could disappear, and as I got older the fat could protrude, so repositioning should be done together. He carefully pointed out things like the fact that my skin is thin and what happens when the skin is thin, which other hospitals hadn't mentioned one by one, so overall the consultation was good. However, different hospitals were split on whether repositioning was necessary or not, and there was a bigger discount for same-day booking, but it wasn't a small amount. Above all, the under-eye area is something I think I need to decide carefully about, so I'm very torn.
