I had lower eyelid fat repositioning about 4 years ago. They also recommended fat grafting because my cheekbone area was somewhat hollow, but I just had the repositioning. It worked well for me. The under-eye fat became flatter and my dark circles improved too. Since I didn’t get fat grafting, one side still showed a slight boundary after surgery, but that was something they mentioned during the consultation. It wasn’t bothersome enough for me, so in terms of recovery and other aspects, I’m glad I only did the repositioning. Now that about 4 years have passed, it does feel a tiny bit raised compared to right after surgery, but it still seems to be holding up well. I don’t feel there’s any major problem so far, so I don’t regret the surgery.
