About 6 years ago, I had nose surgery using autologous costal cartilage! Back then, Dr. Oh Young-hwan was the representative, and he was rumored to be number one in rib-cartilage nose surgery, so the estimate came out to 13 million, so I paid over 8 million won in cash and had the surgery.. I was surprised because the hospital was old, in an older building with no elevator, and it felt more like a neighborhood ENT clinic than a regular plastic surgery clinic?.. But I figured as long as the surgery was good, that was enough. I had the surgery, but it wasn't the shape I wanted, nor was it the line shown in the virtual simulation, and without telling me, they had put an implant under the base of my nose near the philtrum, like a cat-type surgery.. In the end I had everything removed and got a rib revision surgery at another hospital... The aftercare was a total mess too. I waited more than an hour for a consultation with the director, but they told me to come another time because the surgery was running long, and for 3 months I never even got to see the director, and then I heard he retired honorably.. It's one of the worst hospitals in my ranking.
