Interestingly, the first consultant was a man, and the consultation process was: a short talk with the consultant, a short talk with the director, then another talk with the consultant. From the start, the consultant firmly said I don't really have fat to remove from my face and that it seemed like a case that would need contouring surgery. The director also said they could remove some, but not to expect dramatic results. When I came back, the consultant firmly said they wouldn't recommend it, and that it would probably be better not to do it, so I left without even getting a quote. I was startled, but because they were so firm about not doing it, I felt a lot more settled.
